Adopting Daniel: Yesterday, we had a meeting at Mi Familia which is the government agency that handles adoptions in Nicaragua. We were able to give one of the social workers a lot of our adoption paperwork and we received a list of the paperwork we still need to gather. We are hoping to have Daniel live with us while our paperwork is being completed, but we are not sure if this is going to be possible.
Please pray that we could quickly get the paperwork we need from the U.S. and that we would receive approval to have Daniel live with us soon. |

Each year NCA's high school students go on three field trips; one with a service theme, one with a science theme, and one with a cultural theme. Yesterday I went with the juniors and seniors on a cultural field trip to the national theater where they had an art display related to the history of Nicaragua.
Please pray for the students of NCA as we desire to see them develop, grow, and share their faith in the country of Nicaragua. |

Driving in Nicaragua can be very interesting. These cows made me smile this morning as I stopped my car on the way to school and took this picture of them walking down the middle of the road:-) |
