Dear Family and Friends,
I'm writing today to ask you to pray over the weekend for the spiritual retreat I will be leading with the precious teachers who attend our Bible Study. Fourteen teachers will be attending the retreat. Their names are Aimee, Micheala, Kara, Kevin (yes, this is a lady), Ana, Lisa, Rebecca, Golda, Jessica, Jessica, Kelly, Sharon, Leah, Carey, and Gina. For some, this will be their first experience with this kind of retreat.
I will be teaching from the book "The Prodigal God" by Timothy Keller. A transformational book. I highly recommend it. Very short. But, great message. Needed message.
I have listed prayer requests below the agenda and ask that you pray these requests for these women. I have a lot yet to do today and was tempted not to take time to pass these on to you, but felt a "yielding" as I considered not sending this to you. I am again reminded of what a vital role you play in our ministry here as you pray so faithfully for us. Hence, this yielding was a reminder that without Him, I can do nothing. But I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. Thank you for standing in the gap for us this weekend.

4:00 pm to 5:30 pm - Get settled, swim, and talk
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm Eat Dinner - direct to the "session place" after dinner
6:15 pm - 7:15 pm - Go through agenda, Session 1: Lost Brother Won
7:15 pm - 8:30 pm - Games, Free Time
8:30 – Possible Campfire
Saturday:
7:30 am – 8:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 am – 9:00 am - Session 2: Lost Brother Too

Prayer Requests:
1) God would teach us what it truly means to live before Him with pure hearts and clean hands.
2) God would show each of us where we are not living before Him with a pure heart and clean hands.
3) God would speak to us individually during our quiet times to identify for us how we can grow in intimacy with Him.
4) God would speak His love to us as we open our hearts to Him as our Loving Father.
